Josh Holland (Yosushimura / YSM) is a songwriter / producer & mixing engineer based in Canterbury Kent. Who’s writing & producing genres go from Electronic Dance to Funk, Pop & Rock, taking influences from artists like Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Franz Ferdinand, Duran Duran, Blondie & Dragonette. 

 

Starting his music endeavours back in 2010, as drummer for the indie rock band We Are Tides. 

He’s since then been focused on writing his own material while working with artists as a producer / engineer.

The story all began back In school where there was access to computers which unlocked the possibilities of sequencing and basic recording and fuelled his passion for recording music.

 

Recently been producing a Kent based rock band Flawless Carbon’s new EP. Incorporating a tradition rock sound with modern synth and orchestral elements. The EP is due for release summer 2018.

Also in 2018 his debut single ‘Get A Little’ released under the name (Yosushimura) and co-written and featuring the London artist Brunette
